Trick or Treat Downtown Ferndale
Downtown Ferndale businesses welcome all children and pups of all ages to stop by for an afternoon filled with human treats and dog treats! Join us on Saturday, October 24, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm for a Trick or Treat of a good time.
The sidewalks of Downtown Ferndale will be filled with Spooktacular delights and festive costumery! Parents and guardians are invited to bring their children and pups of all ages to Trick or Treat at participating in downtown businesses.
Look for the “Customized Pumpkin” poster in business windows to know which businesses are participating.
Community stations including the Ferndale Fire Department, Ferndale Police Department, Downtown Ferndale staff, Commissioners, and Council Members will be stationed all around town.
A ZONE GUIDE MAP WILL BE POSTED TO HELP GUIDE YOU ON THE TRAIL AROUND TO PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES

When you think of Halloween, you think of costumes. Dressing up is a fun opportunity for people of all ages to express themselves in unique and creative ways. Downtown Ferndale wanted to share a reminder to be mindful of costumes that can be degrading to others.
We believe that everyone should feel welcome in Downtown Ferndale, because we take great pride in our city. Many of us have grown up with “normal” costumes that portrayed ideas of a specific race, ethnicity, religion, or gender identity. Now is a great time to consider whether our costumes might include insensitive attire or accessories, and think about what messages they send… even if we didn’t realize it.
