Month of November
With the help of Oakland County and Genisys Credit Union, Small Business Saturday has evolved into a month-long campaign highlighting our favorite local businesses.
The Local Gems sweepstakes runs for the month of November. Please encourage your customers to submit a selfie or other personal photo showcasing your business – staff can also participate! Each entry is a chance to win a prize: $1,000… $500… or $250. Businesses that are tagged will be featured on an Oakland County registry of Local Gems for the next year.
How to Enter (Starting on November 1, 2025)
- Explore small, independently owned businesses in Oakland County.
- Take a selfie inside or outside the business.
- Upload your photo to [link will be provided once contest begins] Each business visit counts as a separate entry, increasing your chances of winning. Multiple entries are allowed, but only one submission per business is permitted.
