Let’s Celebrate the Creative Energy! Downtown Ferndale Art Walk
October 14, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This community event will feature a full day of planned activities celebrating the new murals in downtown Ferndale with extended hours at art galleries, in-store activities & special offers from participating retail stores as well as self guided tours of the newly revealed “You Belong Here” murals.
Stop by the corner of Allen St and West Troy Street from 1 PM to 4 PM to see the art ambassadors from Ferndale Arts and Cultural Commission. Printed material will be available with maps, insight from the artists behind this years mural program “You Belong Here” and business event information.
Be sure to check out the local businesses while you are walking around and do not forget to check out the Art Galleries as you travel around downtown Ferndale!

- HOURS: 1 PM to 4 PM / 7 PM to 10 PM
- ACTIVITY: Not Sorry Goods is hosting a DIY T-Shirt Yarn Workshop from 1-4pm! Join us for this hands-on workshop and learn how to transform your t-shirt scraps into wearable art! Participants will leave with the materials, tools and the know-how to crochet and make their own t-shirt yarn creations. By the end of the workshop, participants will have their very own water bottle holder made from crocheted t-shirt scraps! This class is led by Jordan Jones, owner of Regular Clothing with support from Not Sorry Goods. The store will also be hosting an “Art Walk After Dark” party with extended hours for late night shopping and live DJs from Choose Better Friends Records in-store from 7 PM to 10 PM.
