JARS x Joey Salamon Mural Unveiling Celebration

Join us in celebrating the newest mural in downtown Ferndale!
What: Official unveiling of the mural titled “Polychromatic Super You” by Artist Joey Salamon. This 40×25 ft. mural intentionally incorporates the use of digital technology and is designed to drive awareness about Michigan’s LGBTQ+ community, along with donations in support of Detroit’s LGBTQ+ resource agency and safe haven, the Ruth Ellis Center. This Pride-inspired public art mural has been made possible in collaboration with the artist and the Chicago-based, art curatorial partnership and duo, Beauty & Brawn, hosted by JARS, Michigan’s leading lifestyle retailer and purveyor of affordable and accessible cannabis products.
Where: West Nine Mile between Olive’s Bloombox & Liberty Tax
When: Friday, September 16 starting at 5 PM, the ribbon cutting will take place at 6 PM. Festivities include, food from Bobcat Bonnies, music and more.
Vehicle Parking: Parking is available inside the parking garage at The dot and the adjacent Withington Parking Lot.
