DESCRIPTION:We want to hear from you!  \nThis spring\, ParkFerndale will transition to a “pay-by-plate” system\, commonly referred to as “zone parking.” You might recognize this from cities like Detroit\, where users pay to park anywhere within an area of identified spaces\, rather than a specific space number. \nThis decision was previously approved by City Council\, recognizing how this approach should improve the customer experience by offering more ways to pay with added convenience and reduced confusion/error. \nDon’t worry – the app will stay the same and most users won’t notice any difference\, except for the signage – which is where YOU come in… \nWe want to be sure that this new system is as easy to understand as we think it is. Therefore\, we’re asking for your input on the parking signs before they roll out. \nPlease join us at one of the following sessions where we’ll preview some sign examples and ask for your feedback.
