Dressing up is a fun opportunity for people of all ages to express themselves in unique and creative ways.  Downtown Ferndale wanted to share a reminder to be mindful of costumes that can be degrading to others. \nWe believe that everyone should feel welcome in Downtown Ferndale\, because we take great pride in our city. Many of us have grown up with “normal” costumes that portrayed ideas of a specific race\, ethnicity\, religion\, or gender identity.
